Vanda Orchids
Facts
Vanda orchids are from India and the Far East. The generic name comes from a Sanskrit word for orchid. In the wild they grow on trees with their roots in the air. As they experience tropical downpours they absorb water into their thick fleshy roots, which will maintain them until the next downpour.
